Trip to the Pole. Dogsled Expedition to the North Pole.
The famous French polar explorer and traveler Paul-Émile Victor once asked: «Who was the first to reach both the North and the South Poles of our planet?», in his book “Draught dogs – friends in risk”. As it turns out, it was the Eskimo dog, both of the times. Indeed, Robert Peary, Fredrick Cook and Raul Amundsen in their historic attempts relied on “friends in risk” to reach the top and the bottom of our planet.
| In the dog sled expeditions offered by our firm, you are given a chance to handle a team of draught dogs, while recreating the historical journeys of the legendary pioneers of the North. Throughout the expedition you will pass through frozen fields of white, cross the inaccessible ice hummocks, and travel through the open waters of the Arctic Ocean with your new friends. A real test awaits you in the depths of the arctic expanse, and at the completion of which, you can take pride in having reached the North Pole and counting yourself amongst the few that have completed this rigorous journey. |
